The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Kaduna has fired All Progressives Congress (APC) Governor Uba Sani.

On Thursday, the panel called the state’s 2023 governorship election inconclusive.

After the judges avoided the physical hall, the verdict was announced through Zoom.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Isah Mohammed Ashiru, filed the petition.

In a 2:1 split ruling, the tribunal directed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to hold a supplemental election in 7 wards across 4 Local Government Areas within 90 days.
