Feisty Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has pledged never to be desperate again in his life.

The actor made the vow in an online video while recalling his experience with late Prophet TB Joshua, the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).

In 2013, the Nollywood ‘bad boy’ was seen in a widely circulated video receiving deliverance at SCOAN.

In his most recent interview with Teju Babyface, the actor stated that he was forced to bring his sick mother to the prophet for healing out of desperation.

Lamenting taking a step out of desperation, he said, “I will never be desperate again in my life. Desperation was what took me there—to take my mother there, hoping that a man of God would heal her. If she were to live, twenty TB Joshuas would not stop her.

“It was her time. Nobody would have made me enter that space; he was not the only one I went to; I have been to five or six men of God; is it because I do not want to mention names? How they drove me the money they took from me.”
