Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes his former club has what it takes to win the Premier League title this year.
The Gunners are currently leading the table with 10 games remaining.
Under Mikel Arteta‘s leadership, Arsenal secured a 2-1 victory against Brentford on Saturday, while their main competitors, Liverpool and Manchester City, drew 1-1 the following day.
This result put Arsenal at the top of the table with 64 points, ahead of Liverpool on goal difference and one point ahead of City.
During Monday Night Football, Wright was asked which team he thinks will emerge as the champions.
He replied: “Of course, I’m going for Arsenal!
“With what happened last season, they know what they need to do. They’re in great form, all the players are fit now.
“I’m not gonna sit here and say, ‘Oh I hope…’ That’s not what the players want to hear. They are very focused, a tightly-bonded team with a manager who is ambitious and very focused on what he wants to do.”
