Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, professionally known as Tems, has stated a desire to appear in a film soon.
The Grammy-winning singer stated that she would love to play single mothers in films during an interview with the BBC in London.
Visitodell learnt that Tems was raised in Lagos, Nigeria, by a single mother.
“I’m ready to act in movies. Not ready right now, but I’m already good at acting.
“The first character I would love to play is a single mum. It doesn’t need to be struggling. It could be like a fun single mum or a single mum that has mysteries. A gangster,” the Oscar-nominated diva said.
Tems has now joined the ranks of Davido, Wizkid, and Mr Eazi, who have previously expressed interest in working in the film industry as executives rather than actors.
