Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson didn’t hold back as he asserted his status as the foremost actor on the African continent, citing his consistent 15-year career and influence on young actors as evidence.

Egbuson made these remarks as a guest on the latest episode of the Menisms Podcast.

Speaking confidently, Egbuson stated, “I have been acting for 15 years without interruption. I’ve consistently inspired numerous young actors. I genuinely believe I paved the way for many emerging talents and established the leading male young actor category.”

He added, “When I entered Nollywood, lead roles for young men were scarce. Most roles were reserved for older actors or females. Young male actors were relegated to minor roles. By breaking this trend, I believe I’ve made a significant impact.”

Asserting his position, Egbuson concluded, “Considering my collective achievements, I confidently proclaim myself as the preeminent actor in Africa.”
