Hackers have taken over the official Instagram account of popular artist Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile, nicknamed Portable.
Portable’s management confirmed the hacking in a statement issued on Wednesday.
It assured that it was actively working to remedy the problem.
According to the report, the hackers are impersonating Portable and are most likely utilizing the account to disseminate false information, frauds, and potentially hazardous stuff.
“We regret to inform you that Portable’s official Instagram account has been hacked and taken over by unknown fraudsters. We understand that this incident may cause concern and confusion among our loyal fans, and we want to assure you that we are actively working to resolve this issue,” it said.
As a result, it advised followers of the musician to disregard any messages, postings, or requests from the stolen account.
