Nigerian rapper and singer, Folarin Falana, also known as Falz The Bahdguy, recently shared a harrowing experience he had with his Bhad Guys band a decade ago.
In 2013, after performing their first N1 million gig in Abuja, they were on their way to another gig in Benin when they encountered a terrifying incident between Abuja and Lokoja.
Falz explained that their vehicle was ambushed by a group of five gunmen, resulting in the tragic death of their driver. This left the vehicle out of control, eventually crashing into a forest.
Falz, a multi-faceted entertainer, shared a harrowing experience in the latest episode of the Untapped Podcast.
He recounted that when he and his band members regained consciousness, they found themselves face-to-face with a hoodlum who demanded money from them.
Despite explaining that they had no money, the hoodlum persisted and made numerous threats. Eventually, upon hearing police sirens, the hoodlum and his accomplices fled. However, it was only after several private cars refused to assist them that the police finally came to their rescue.
Falz revealed that he and his band members still bear physical scars from the injuries sustained during the incident.
