Philip Shaibu, the Edo State deputy governor, has gifted two of his most senior drivers with two fully furnished apartments.
The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 Edo State governorship election announced the gesture on Wednesday via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
Captioning the pictures of the apartments, Mr. Philip wrote:
“This is my little way of appreciating them for their dedication and loyalty since 2007, when they have been with me. I am happy that they are now landlords.
Worthy of note is that Jonathan Orukpe is from Ewohimi in Esan, while Ayo Momodu hails from Etsako West Local Government Area of the state.”
