Following the disappointing loss of the Super Eagles to Ivory Coast in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Final on Sunday, Nigerian singer Charles Oputa, famously known as Charly Boy, has shared his reaction.

Charly Boy acknowledged the efforts of Jose Peseiro’s team against Ivory Coast but conceded that the better team emerged victorious. “The Super Eagles really put in effort, but ultimately, the better team emerged victorious,” Charly Boy expressed on X.

He urged everyone to confront the challenges ahead. In the match, Nigeria initially took the lead in the first half through William Troost-Ekong’s header.

However, Ivory Coast equalized in the second half with Franck Kessie’s header, and Sebastien Haller’s late goal secured the victory for the hosts.
