Arsenal will not win the Premier League title, according to Liverpool star Jamie Carragher, since their lineup lacks world-class attackers.
Carragher stated on Monday Night Football that the Gunners must find a method to enhance their open-play goals.
Mikel Arteta‘s team dropped to fourth place in the rankings after a 2-1 setback at Fulham on Saturday and a 1-0 loss at home to West Ham on Thursday.
Arsenal missed two chances to reclaim first place in the table as a consequence of the outcomes.
“They need to be scoring more from open play. On a recent MNF with Freddie Ljungberg, we were almost debating this different Arsenal. And it is a different Arsenal to the one we saw last season.
“My feeling then was that if the attacking front three or four didn’t improve, I felt Arsenal wouldn’t win the league. I still believe that,” Carragher said.
