As the 2024 Grammy Awards draw near, Afrobeat star, Burna Boy is set to grace the stage as one of the featured performers.
The Recording Academy announced this on Monday morning, revealing that alongside Burna Boy, American artists Luke Combs and Travis Scott will also showcase their talent at the prestigious event.
The Grammy organizers took to social media to share the news, posting, “Attention: African Giant @BurnaBoy will take the #GRAMMYs stage on Sunday, February 4th at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT on @CBS.” This announcement added an extra layer of anticipation to the already star-studded ceremony, which includes performers such as Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and Dua Lipa.
Burna Boy, a standout figure in the music industry, has clinched three nominations at the 66th Grammys. These nominations span across categories, including Best Melodic Rap Performance for ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World,’ Best Global Music Performance for ‘Alone,’ and Best African Music Performance for ‘City Boys.’
The 66th Grammy Awards is set to take place on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
