Breaking: Police Arrest Abuja-Kaduna Train Attack Mastermind

The Nigeria Police has apprehended an individual believed to be the mastermind of the violent attack on the Abuja-Kaduna passenger train that left many killed while others were kidnapped in March 2022.

Police Public Relations Officer ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi disclosed the arrest during a press briefing in Kaduna on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

The suspect, identified as Ibrahim Abdullahi, goes by the alias Mandi.

Adejobi stated that this arrest is a significant development in the investigation of the Abuja-Kaduna train incident.

Additionally, the police spokesperson mentioned that the suspect was involved in the kidnapping of students from Greenfield University in 2021.
