Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang took a shot at his former club Chelsea after Hakim Ziyech completed his move to Galatasaray.
Ziyech finally departed Chelsea this week after two failed attempts. Aubameyang, who joined Chelsea from Marseille this summer, congratulated his old teammate on his loan move to Galatasaray on Instagram. He didn’t, however, pass up the opportunity to poke fun at his previous team.
Ziyech’s projected January move to Paris Saint-Germain fell through as Chelsea failed to submit the necessary papers on time. Chelsea’s desire to sell the winger to Al-Nassr was thwarted six months later when the Saudi club altered their offer to the player.
Ziyech was introduced to Galatasaray fans on Saturday after his new club defeated Trabzonspor 2-0. The Turkish giants will pay a loan fee of £3 million ($3.8 million) and will have the option to make the move permanent next summer for an extra £2.4 million ($2.85 million).
