Arsenal are preparing to begin negotiations with defender Ben White about a long-term contract extension, despite the fact that his current contract expires in three years.
The England international has been a vital player for the Gunners, and The Daily Mail believes that negotiations with him will begin in the coming weeks.
White, 25, is currently under contract with the north London club until 2026, but club officials are determined to reward him for his excellent form by offering him better terms and a longer contract. The Gunners are also thought to be in contract negotiations with Martin Odegaard.
Arsenal will face Everton in the Premier League on Sunday, before contract talks begin.
