Army Kill Four Suspected Bandits In Zamfara Community

Troops from the Joint Task Force, North West Operation Hadarin Daji, have successfully eliminated four terrorists in Zamfara State.

The terrorists were targeted during military operations in various hideouts and camps located in Tazame, Mashema, Gandaya, Maje, Doka villages, and nearby areas near Gandaya village in Bungudu Local Government.

According to the military authorities, an unknown number of bandits managed to escape with possible gunshot wounds.

Additionally, the troops were able to recover fifty-seven stolen cattle, military camouflage uniforms, sleeping kits, and a sum of nine hundred thousand Naira in cash from the terrorists’ hideouts.

“All the identified terrorists’ enclaves and makeshift camps were destroyed instantly during the operation”, the statement added.

The confrontation occurred just 24 hours after the military successfully rescued 31 individuals who had been kidnapped by bandits in Sokoto. Additionally, numerous camps belonging to the bandits were also demolished during the operation.
