Amuneke Enters Race To Become Super Eagles Coach

Former Nigerian winger Emmanuel Amuneke is interested in becoming the next head coach of the Super Eagles.

The Nigeria Football Federation recently announced that the position was available after Jose Peseiro’s contract ended.

The NFF is asking interested coaches to apply for the job and has provided a list of requirements.

“Yes, I did [apply to be the next manager],” Amuneke told popular journalist Osazu Obayiwana.

The 53-year-old is a top contender to replace Peseiro.

He has previously coached the Nigeria U-17 team and the Tanzania national team.
