Runcie Mike, the Lead Pastor of The Evening Church in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, has died!
This comes just two days after presiding over the funeral of one of his church members, the 36-year-old daughter of a well-known broadcaster.
According to reports, the Pastor, whose church is located at the Tropicana Centre Shopping Mall in Uyo, died on Saturday, July 1, following a brief illness. His wife and two children survive him.
When the news first broke, some churchgoers assumed it was a hoax. The church’s leadership, however, later verified the tragic news.
During this time of sadness, the church has asked for prayers from the body of Christ, particularly for the Pastor’s immediate family.
“In this time of grief, we enjoin the body of Christ to hold us up in prayers and most especially, His immediate family,” the church announced.
