Aiyedatiwa Takes Oath Of Office As Ondo Governor After Akeredolu’s Death

The acting governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has officially been sworn in as the new governor of the state.

Aiyedatiwa took the oath of office at the governor’s office just 24 hours after the departure of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

Allub Times reports that Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, who has been battling leukaemia and prostate cancer since April, died today in a German hospital.
