Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo singled out Nigeria’s goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, as her standout performer following the Super Eagles’ unexpected loss to Ivory Coast in the AFCON finals.

It was a sad day for Nigerians as the Super Eagles suffered a 2-1 defeat to Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations final on Sunday, February 11. This outcome left many Nigerians disappointed, as they had anticipated a victory.

Expressing her sadness, Iyabo Ojo named Stanley Nwabali as her hero for the night, acknowledging his efforts in the game. She issued a stern warning, stating that she would wear her black bonnet for the next three days if anyone dared to upset her.

Taking to social media, she wrote, “My hero tonight… @nwabali32 But I’m still saddened. Let no one upset me for the next 3 days. Unless I’ll wear my black bonnet “
