Former Nigerian international Peterside Idah has called for the dismissal of Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro, despite leading the team to the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
It should be noted that Nigeria lost 2-1 to Ivory Coast in the final on Sunday.
The former international raised concerns about the coach’s defensive tactics, which he believes are unfamiliar to the country.
“You know, a lot of people have asked me yesterday; the coach got to the finals,” he said on Monday’s edition of Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily.
“What do you think? I said, fire him!”
