Actor Dejumo Lewis Dies At The Age Of 80

It was a sad day for Nollywood as actor Dejumo Lewis passed away. Dejumo, who featured in prominent Yoruba movies, died at the age of 80. The cause of his death was unknown at the time of writing this report.

Meanwhile, the news of his death was confirmed by another Nollywood colleague, Saidi Balogun, on his Instagram page, with many other actors bidding their farewell via social media.

In his message, Saidi Balogun said, “Good night, Dejumo Lewis; may your soul rest in perfect peace.” Dejumo was popularly known for his roles in “A Place in the Stars,” ‘Crossroads,’ ‘Power of 1,’ and, most notably, for playing the role of Kabiyesi in ‘The Village Headmaster.”
