Ghanaian dancehall singer Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., alias Shatta Wale, has stated that the success of Nigerian singers has eclipsed that of Ghanaians.
He compared the Ghanaian music industry to a “feeding bottle” to the Nigerian industry, which he compared to a “Hennessy bottle.”
Shatta Wale praised Asake, a budding Nigerian artist who recently sold out London, United Kingdom’s 20,000-capacity O2 Arena.
Taking to his Twitter handle, he wrote; “Nigerians [artistes] are making Ghana music look like feeding bottle compared to Hennessy bottle. Congrats to Asake meeenn!!!
