A case of tax evasion involving Binance Holdings Limited and its executives has been adjourned by a Federal High Court in Abuja.

The Federal Inland Revenue Service took the firm to court for allegedly evading taxes.

The lawsuit also includes company officials Tigran Gambaryan and Nadeem Anjarwalla, who is currently on the run.

Binance was accused of not registering with the FIRS to pay the required taxes and failing to issue invoices to subscribers on its trading platform for Value Added Taxes.

The case was postponed because Gambaryan, who is in EFCC custody, has not been served the charges. Additionally, there is an ongoing money laundering case against the company by the EFCC.
