Lawyers representing Sean Combs, also known as P. Diddy, have called the raid on his home a “witch-hunt.”
Aaron Dyer stated that the raid on P. Diddy’s home was unjustified and based on unfounded accusations.
US Federal agents searched the home of the music executive after receiving allegations of his involvement with underage girls and other crimes.
However, a statement by Dyer said: “Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr Combs’ residences.
“This unprecedented ambush — paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence — leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.”
Combs has been accused in multiple civil lawsuits of being a violent predator who used alcohol and drugs to control his victims.
The lawsuits, spanning decades, involve at least four individuals who claim they were abused by Combs.
Despite the allegations, Combs has not been found guilty of any criminal charges and denies all accusations against him.
“There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name,” Dyer added.
