Jude Bellingham saved England from a loss and prevented Belgium from achieving their first victory on English soil with a late equalizer, resulting in a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.
Gareth Southgate’s team was on track for another defeat after losing to Brazil on Saturday, but goals from Ivan Toney and Bellingham helped secure a draw.
The Three Lions faced setbacks early in the first half when John Stones got injured and had to leave the game after nine minutes, followed by Youri Tielemans scoring for Belgium due to an error by Jordan Pickford.
England quickly equalized after falling behind, with Toney earning a penalty after being fouled by Jan Vertonghen.
He calmly converted the spot kick to score his first goal for England. Belgium then took the lead again when Tielemans scored with a header at the back post, capitalizing on a mistake by Lewis Dunk.
Despite this setback, England continued to press forward and eventually scored a late equalizer through Bellingham in added time, securing a well-deserved draw.
