Nigerian Air Force Jet Crashes In Kaduna

A Nigerian Air Force trainer aircraft called Super Mushshak crashed in Kaduna on Thursday.

The crash happened around 2:35 p.m..

The NAF spokesperson, Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, stated that there were no casualties as both pilots managed to escape unharmed.

“The accident, which occurred at about 3.5 nautical miles from Kaduna Military Airfield, involved two pilots, who were returning from a routine training flight.

“Luckily, both pilots came out of the crash unscathed”, the statement said.

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, has ordered an initial investigation to determine the cause of the crash.

“The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has since directed for a preliminary investigation to ascertain the immediate cause of the crash”, the statement said.
