The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano State has formed an 11-member caretaker committee to oversee its operations.

According to a statement from the national publicity secretary, Hon Debo Ologunagba, Alh. Mai Adamu Mustapha has been appointed as the committee’s chairman.

Other  members of the committee are; ⁠Ibrahim A. Dan’Iya; Prof. Muntari Y. Banana; Hon. Aminu A. Jingau; ⁠Barr. Habibu Adamu.

Also on the committee are ⁠Auwalu Ibrahim Dan’Zubuwa; ⁠Abubakar Gwarmani; ⁠Kabiru Bello Dandago; ⁠Haj. Ladidi Dan’Galan; Auwalu Mukhtar Maibiscuit; and  ⁠Barr. Baba Lawal Aliyu (secretary).

The statement added, “The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has, on behalf of the National Executive Committee (NEC), pursuant to provisions of the Constitution of the PDP (as amended, 2017), approved the composition of Kano State Caretaker Committee to run the affairs of the Kano State Chapter of the Party for a period not exceeding 90 days (3 months).

“The NWC urges all leaders, critical stakeholders and teeming members of our Party in Kano State to remain united and continue to work together for the progress of the Party in the State,” it stated.
