President Bola Tinubu has awarded the national honor of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) to the Super Eagles players who participated in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) football tournament.
In addition, the players have also been given plots of land as gifts for their exceptional performance in the recently concluded tournament.
The Super Eagles were hosted by President Tinubu at the Council Chambers of the State House.
The team returned to Nigeria after losing their match against the host nation, Côte d’Ivoire, in the finals of the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations.
