Nigerian music star Davido has once again achieved a remarkable feat by selling out the iconic O2 Arena in London ahead of his scheduled concert on January 28, 2024.

This was confirmed by the official X account of O2. Davido’s “Timeless Tour,” launched in 2023 following the release of his fourth album, “Timeless,” has been captivating audiences worldwide.

In 2019, Davido made history as the first Nigerian solo artist to sell out the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena, solidifying his position as a trailblazer in the Afrobeats movement.

However, Davido’s aspirations extend beyond sold-out arenas. The musician has garnered three Grammy nominations: Best African Song Performance (“Unavailable”), Best Global Song Performance (“Feel”), and Best Global Album (“Timeless”).

If Davido secures these awards, it would mark a watershed moment for Afrobeats, propelling him even further into the international spotlight. Since its release, ‘Timeless’ has continued to amass millions of streams across various music platforms, reaffirming Davido’s influence in the global music scene.
