Famous Lagos Islamic Leader Shaykh Abou Dies At 101

Shaykh Abdul-Afis amu Abou, a prominent Islamic leader and chairman of the Executive Council of Lagos Central Mosque, has passed away.

Known as Baba Adinni, he died at the age of 101.

His burial will take place today, Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Lagos Central Mosque, following Islamic customs.

Notably, the late Islamic scholar led the Executive Council of the Lagos Central Mosque in reclaiming the land of the Mosque at Dodan Barracks.
