Nigerian singer Davido has disclosed the reason behind his purchase of a frog-shaped pendant worth millions from Ice Box.
During a recent interview with GQ, the 30 Billion Gang leader shared that he decided to create the frog pendant in response to online trolls mocking him for his hoarse voice, referring to him as a “frog” on Twitter.
Davido expressed his decision to turn the derogatory term into a statement piece.
Davido said, “I made a frog pendant because my voice is hoarse, and they [trolls] were calling me a frog on Twitter. I was like, You know what? I’m going to make a chain out of that sh*t.”
