Nigerian artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, has opened up about the profound sorrow he is grappling with following the passing of his mother, Dolapo Balogun.
Wizkid faced this heartbreaking loss in August 2023 while on a tour for his album, ‘More Love, Less Ego,’ in Europe.
Expressing his sentiments on social media regarding the void left by his mother’s departure, Wizkid shared that life has taken on a sense of emptiness without her presence.
In a post on his Instagram page on Wednesday, the singer implored his fans to collaborate with God in navigating these challenging times. He conveyed, “Made idk days after I lost my mom. Life has been meaningless! But we dey. Sometimes, you have to let everything go. Work with God.”
