The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has given his approval for the immediate dismissal of all directors from five agencies under his control.
The decision was communicated through a statement released by the ministry’s head of press and public affairs, Odutayo Oluseyi, on Thursday.
Allub Times reports that President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday night fired six heads of government agencies, with some coming from the aviation sector, in what is increasingly looking like the government’s willingness to cleanup an industry that has consistently been accused of ineffectiveness and corruption.
