Rasmus Hojlund has returned to training before Manchester United’s important Champions League match against Galatasaray on Wednesday.
This is a big boost for United, as Hojlund, their star striker, had been injured in a game against Luton Town before the international break and missed the game against Everton over the weekend.
Antony, a Brazilian winger, also missed the Everton game due to a training injury but was seen training with the team on Tuesday.
Luke Shaw, who recently returned from a long injury lay-off, could also make his first Champions League appearance of the season on Wednesday.
United’s poor performance in the Champions League so far is in contrast to Hojlund’s success, as he has scored five goals in four games and is currently tied as the competition’s top scorer with Alvaro Morata of Atletico Madrid.
The win against Everton will provide motivation for United as they face Galatasaray, as they need to start winning matches if they want to qualify for the knockout stage.
