2Baba Splits From His Manager After 20-Year Partnership

The long-standing partnership between veteran musician Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia and his manager, Efe Omorogbe, has officially come to an end after over two decades of working together under the management company Now Muzik.

The announcement was made on Wednesday via Now Muzik’s Facebook page, and the separation is effective immediately.

Efe Omorogbe, Co-founder and CEO of Now Muzik, expressed gratitude for the collaborative journey with 2Baba and highlighted the achievements made during their partnership.

He also recognized their contribution to the growth of Nigeria’s and Africa’s entertainment industry.

His words: “I am grateful to 2Baba for the trust, and for the friendship. I am proud of the brands we built together, the music we made, and the fans we entertained.

“2Baba is one of the greatest Nigerian musicians of all time, and it really is an honour to have had the opportunity to walk side by side with him, watching and helping him make magic over the past two decades.”

He added, “We are grateful for the opportunity to achieve major milestones working with 2Baba over the last two decades.

“These achievements have defined an era and validated our collective contributions to the growth of the entertainment industry in Africa. For this, we are extremely proud.”

< 2Baba thanked Omorogbe and the Now Muzik team for their support in his successful career.

He started working with Now Muzik in 2004 after leaving The Plantashun Boiz. He will now be managed by his own label, Hypertek Digital.
