Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has received medical clearance to play for the Super Eagles in their match against Angola on Friday.

Nwabali’s participation in the game was uncertain due to a minor ligament injury he suffered during the Super Eagles‘ Round of 16 victory over Cameroon.

However, the Chippa United goalkeeper has now fully recovered from the injury.

On Wednesday night, the 27-year-old trained alongside his teammates at the Police College in Cocody, Abidjan.

Nwabali has only conceded one goal in four appearances for the Super Eagles during the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

The Super Eagles will face the Black Antelopes in a quarter-final match at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.
