Gelson Dala and Mabululu led Angola to a 3-0 victory over Namibia, securing their spot in the quarterfinals of the Africa Cup of Nations.

During the initial phase of the game, there were different outcomes, one of which was when Angolan goalkeeper Neblu received a red card in the 17th minute.

Despite being a player down, Angola consistently put pressure on their Namibian opponents. Their efforts paid off when Gelson Dala scored the first goal after 38 minutes of play.

In the 40th minute, Namibia faced another setback when Lubeni Haukongo received his second yellow card and was sent off.

Just two minutes later, Gelson scored again, giving Angola a comfortable two-goal lead at halftime. In the second half, Angola continued to dominate and scored a third goal after 30 minutes with a well-executed strike by Mabululus. This secured their progress to the quarter-final round.

Dala was the star player of the match, scoring two goals in the first half. His performance boosted his team’s confidence and helped them secure a spot in the quarter-final round.

The biggest disappointments of the night were Neblu from Angola and Haukongo from Namibia, who both received red cards during a crucial match, putting their teams at a disadvantage.

Angola will now face either Nigeria or Cameroon in the quarter-final round. Meanwhile, Namibia can be proud of their achievements as they made history by progressing past the group stage. They will now return home with their heads held high.
