Chelsea are rumoured to have activated Michael Olise’s current Crystal Palace contract’s £35 million ($44.5m) release clause.

The Evening Standard reported yesterday that a sum of £45m ($57m) had been suggested, but Chelsea have now activated Palace’s £35m ($44.5m) release clause, according to The Athletic.

Chelsea’s rebuild shows no signs of slowing down, with Moises Caicedo’s move from Brighton completed just yesterday, with Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia likely to follow the Ecuadorian through the door.
