Nigerian singer Chidimma Ekile has revealed why she stopped performing secular music.
Chidinma, who gained fame after winning the MTN Project Fame in 2010, claimed to feel depleted.
She had said in 2021 that she had converted to Christianity and sworn never to perform secular songs again.
The ‘Kedike’ singer claimed in a YouTube video that the emptiness forced her to re-connect with her source (God).
“I was looking for my fulfilment but I didn’t find it until I reconnected with my source,” she added.
