Two more people who were abducted from Sagwari Estate Layout in Dutse, Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), have been killed by kidnappers.

The kidnappers killed them to send a strong message to their relatives, who were negotiating the ransom.

The reported killings happened shortly after another victim, Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar, was killed by the same gang.

The kidnappers initially demanded N60 million per person as ransom, but they have now increased it to N100 million, making the total amount N700 million.

The residents believe that the killings were done because the ransom was not paid on time. One of the victims was a 13-year-old student named Folorunsho Ariyo.

The kidnappers had already killed Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar to put pressure on her family to pay the ransom.

In response to this, former Minister Prof. Ali Pantami mobilized N50 million to help the Al-Kadriyar family after Nabeehaā€™s murder.
