It has been a tough couple of months for Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage, as she revealed she is facing significant health challenges related to her vision impairment.
Tiwa Savage disclosed that she has been struggling with poor eyesight, particularly when attempting to read, resulting in blurred vision. Recently, her condition has deteriorated considerably.
She said, “Over the last two or three years, I’ve noticed squinting and blurry vision when reading. Recently, it’s gotten worse, sometimes requiring me to screen grab messages and zoom in with my camera.”
The singer shared that she now resorts to taking screenshots of messages and zooming in on them using her camera to read. During a visit to an optician in London, it was revealed that while her long-range vision is somewhat acceptable, her short-range vision poses significant difficulties.
“During a visit to an Optician in London, it was confirmed that my long-range vision is okay, though not perfect, but my short-range vision is a challenge. I’ve had moments in restaurants where I couldn’t read the menu. However, I’ve acquired a luxury pair of glasses because ABG doesn’t compromise. Do I still look sexy?”
In an attempt to alleviate her discomfort, Tiwa Savage has acquired a prescribed pair of glasses. However, she humorously questioned whether she still exudes charm while wearing them.
