Tinubu To Depart Lagos For Qatar To Attend Business Summit Thursday

President Bola Tinubu is set to leave Lagos State for a two-day official visit to the State of Qatar on Thursday.

The visit, which is at the invitation of His Highness, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, aims to enhance cooperation between the two nations in various areas such as security, cultural exchange, and economic development.

During the visit, President Tinubu will oversee the signing of several agreements focused on boosting Nigeria’s real sector and creating value-added investments in trade, education, culture, solid minerals, the digital economy, agriculture, gas, and counter-terrorism cooperation.

Additionally, he will take part in a business and investment forum that will bring together top-level executives from both the private and public sectors of Nigeria and Qatar to explore opportunities for mutual growth and development.

Senior government officials will accompany the President on the trip for the signing of agreements.
