Popular Nigerian actress Funke Akindele has finally addressed the public in a viral video following the death of Adejumoke Aderounmu.

Adejumoke, known for her role in Jenifa’s Diary, passed away at the age of 40 under unclear circumstances, causing sadness in the Nigerian film industry.

After Adejumoke’s death, her brother Adeola criticized Funke Akindele online, accusing her of hypocrisy and other things, triggering a backlash against Funke Akindele on social media.

Funke Akindele, who went live on Instagram to talk about the issue, said that people wished her children death.

The visibly emotional movie mogul broke down in tears as she questioned what she had done wrong while explaining that staying silent would only lead to people creating false stories about her.
