Super Story Clinches Television Drama Of The Year Title At NMMA

The never-ending TV drama titled ‘Super Story’ has been named the “Television Drama of the Year” at the 31st edition of the Nigeria Media Merit Awards (NMMA), which took place at the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.

The drama, produced by Wale Adenuga Productions (WAP), started in 2001. Meanwhile, Wale Adenuga Jr. expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasised the continuous efforts to maintain the relevance, relatability, and timeliness of the show’s diverse stories.

Adenuga said, “Since Super Story started airing in 2001, we have never stopped working hard to ensure the relevance, relatability, and timeliness of our different stories being watched by several generations of viewers from various backgrounds.” He appreciated the event organisers and assured Nigerians of more mind-blowing surprises in the future.
