Nigerian singer Joshua Iniyezo, also known as Solidstar, has decided to stop smoking and drinking alcohol.

A few months ago, a video was shared by his brother, Joseph, showing Solidstar looking dishevelled and wandering aimlessly on the street.

However, Solidstar has now stated that he is doing well and is in good health.

He revealed that he has stopped using substances and has learned the importance of open communication.

“I am very well and healthy now. I have been out of the hospital for four months now, but I am still taking my medication. I no longer smoke or take alcohol,” The Nation quoted him as saying in a recent interview.

He admitted that his depression was partly caused by keeping things to himself and viewing those around him as enemies.

Solidstar also mentioned that he received a lot of support from his friends, colleagues, fans, and family during his difficult time.
