SMEDAN Reveals Date For Flog Of Conditional Grant Scheme

SMEDAN has announced that it will be launching the Conditional Grant Scheme (CGS) on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

The event will also include the commissioning of SMEDAN’s Corporate Headquarters. The Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, will be present to commission the headquarters at the Idu Industrial Layout in Abuja.

The Vice President will also use the opportunity to launch the Conditional Grant Scheme (CGS), which is a key program of the Agency. This program provides grants to small business owners in the nanotechnology industry, giving them the chance to formalize their businesses and gain access to financial services.

Senator Kashim Shettima will be taken on a tour of the state-of-the-art Common Facility Centers for MSMEs in the Garment and Furniture sectors in Abuja. During this tour, he will unveil the modern equipment and machinery that have been set up to support the industrial transformation of small businesses in these sectors.

The event will be hosted by the Honorable Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoaka-Aniite, and the Director General CEO of SMEDAN, Mr. Charles Odii. Please note that this program is by invitation only.
