The Lagos State Government has demanded that trailers and tankers immediately leave the Apapa-Oshodi expressway.

Sola Giwa, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s Special Adviser on Transportation, made the news in a statement issued today.

According to him, the articulated vehicles have consistently impeded traffic movement along the Apapa-Oshodi highway, creating significant interruptions and discomfort for passengers.

According to him, the instruction is an important step towards reducing traffic congestion and improving road accessibility for people.

He went on to say that the action is intended to make commuting in Lagos easier for all road users.
