Rudeboy Dismisses Eedris Abdulkareem’s Claims Of 50-Cent Altercation

Published:

Paul Okoye, widely known as Rudeboy of P-Square, has dismissed claims made by Eedris Abdulkareem regarding an altercation with American rapper 50 Cent and his entourage during a concert at Lagos’ Tafawa Balewa Square in 2004.

Abdulkareem alleged in a recent podcast interview that 50 Cent’s crew had physically confronted Nigerian artists, including P-Square, prompting them to leave the backstage area.

Abdulkareem asserted that he was the only Nigerian artist who refused to back down from the confrontation.

However, during an Instagram live session with fans, Rudeboy refuted Abdulkareem’s allegations, stating that P-Square never even attended the mentioned concert due to unsuccessful negotiations with the organizers over performance fees.

Rudeboy claimed that Abdulkareem had accepted a lower offer from the organizers after P-Square had declined, accusing him of betraying Nigerian artists.

Rudeboy clarified that P-Square was never officially booked for the concert and therefore did not participate.

He criticized Abdulkareem for distorting the truth, emphasizing that the incident as described never occurred and dismissing Abdulkareem’s narrative as false.
