Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has stated that he still has the support of the board. Pochettino revealed that he received a positive message from Blues’ owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali following their 4-2 loss to Wolves.

The defeat came shortly after a heavy defeat by Liverpool at Anfield. On Sunday, Chelsea suffered another setback, conceding four goals at home to Gary O’Neil’s team.

The loss marked their 10th defeat in the league this season, causing them to drop to 11th place in the table, behind Wolves.

Chelsea’s chances of qualifying for European football next season are diminishing rapidly, as they are now closer to the relegation zone than to the top four.

However, Pochettino asserts that Boehly expressed confidence in him ahead of their FA Cup fourth-round replay against Aston Villa on Wednesday.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Pochettino said: “I received a very good text after the game against Wolves from the owners. We’re all together in this.”
