The political situation in Rivers State has become more intriguing as 27 members of the Rivers State House of Assembly have switched their allegiance from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Enemi George, a member of the Assembly, confirmed this development to Channels Television, stating that the group of lawmakers is led by Martin Amaewhule.
The decision to defect was made during their meeting on Monday morning.
